CDPH Issues All Facilities Letter on Medical Cannabis Act

On Jan. 26, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued All Facilities Letter 22-04 on Senate Bill (SB) 311, the Compassionate Access to Medical Cannabis Act, otherwise known as Ryan’s Law.  

This AFL notifies all general acute care hospitals and other affected health care facilities of the chaptering of SB 311 (Chapter 384, Statutes of 2021), which permits the use of medicinal cannabis by terminally ill patients while in the health care facility.
