Passed the Assembly Health Committee on March 19. To be heard in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
AB 2132 would require adult patients who receive primary care services in settings where primary care services are provided — including a facility, clinic, unlicensed clinic, center, or office — to be offered a tuberculosis (TB) risk assessment and TB screening test if TB risk factors are identified and if those services are covered under the patient’s health insurance.
