A new statewide data exchange framework is the focus of a CHA webinar set for Nov. 29.
Assembly Bill 133 (2021) established a health and human services data exchange framework, which includes a data sharing agreement (DSA). It also includes a set of policies and procedures which will govern the exchange of health information among health care, social services, and other entities. Per AB 133, hospitals and other health care entities must sign the DSA by Jan. 30, 2023.
Trina Gonzalez, CHA vice president, policy, and Andrea Frey, associate at Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, PC, will present at the webinar, which will focus on the DSA and related policies and procedures.
