CHA has issued a comprehensive summary of the calendar year (CY) 2023 outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS) proposed rule.
The summary details the proposed rule’s acute care hospital provisions, including annual payment and quality updates, policies related to the inpatient-only list, payment for separately payable drugs acquired under the 340B program, add-on payments for domestically manufactured N95 respirators, and a request for information related to organ acquisition costs.
CHA will provide an overview of the proposed rule as part of CHA’s Hospital Finance Week.
