The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) a contract to administer the VA’s Community Care Network (CCN) in California. TriWest will establish and maintain a network of community care providers in the state, as outlined in the Veterans Community Care Program final rule.
Community providers that participated in the Veterans Choice Program prior to June 6 can continue to provide care under existing contracts administered by the TriWest Healthcare Alliance until the new CCN is established. Once it is established, participation in the TriWest CCN will be required to provide care to VA patients.
Providers that wish to participate in the CCN network should contact TriWest at ccnprovider@triwest.com. Additional information, including a sample provider contract, is available on TriWest’s website.
