Provider Relief Fund Reporting Portal Reopens; Deadline to Return Funds is Upcoming

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is reopening the Provider Relief Fund (PRF) reporting portal for Period 1 to allow providers to complete or correct their applications.

Additionally, CHA reminds members of the upcoming deadline to return any excess PRF funds from Reporting Period 1 and the opening of Reporting Period 2.  

  • Reporting Portal for Period 1 Reopened: The Reporting Portal will be open for the completion or submission of reports for Reporting Period 1 until Dec. 20 at 8:59 p.m. (PT). PRF recipients who submitted a Reporting Period 1 report but need to correct an error must contact the provider support line (866-569-3522) to gain access to their submitted report. To access the PRF reporting portal, visit the HRSA website.  
  • Deadline to Return Funds from Period 1: Providers who determined they have unused PRF funds from the timeframe covered by Reporting Period 1 (April 10-June 30, 2020) must return those funds to HRSA by Dec. 30 at 8:59 p.m. (PT). Funds can be returned using the unused funds portal. Additional information about returning unused funds is available in this fact sheet
  • Reporting Period 2 Opens Jan. 1: PRF Reporting Period 2 opens Jan. 1 and closes March 31, 2022, for providers who received payments exceeding $10,000 in aggregate from July 1 to Dec. 31, 2020. The deadline to use funds received during the time frame covered by Reporting Period 2 is Dec. 31. HRSA resources to assist with reporting are available online.
