The online Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) Summit, which will be held over two half-days, is set for May 9-10.
The summit will provide attendees with the tools to understand the sometimes confusing and intimidating legalese of the PSES.
Presenters will answer questions about how to manage institutional PSES, improve the delivery of patient care design, and discuss innovative programs that reduce costs, accelerate efficiency, and enhance reliability.
Speakers include Mark Chassin, MD, FACP, MPP, MPH, president emeritus of The Joint Commission; and Kelsay Irby, BSN, RN, CCRN, an emergency room (ER) nurse at St. Michael Medical Center in the Seattle area. Irby is known for calling 911 last year when her ER was overwhelmed with patients.
