CDPH Space Waiver Formally Extended to June 30
On March 16, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) formally extended its space waiver until June 30 by releasing All Facilities Letter 20-26.12.
CMS Announces Collaborative on Improving Maternal Health
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the Improving Maternal Health by Reducing Low-Risk Cesarean Delivery (LRCD) Learning Collaborative, which will use a webinar series and an affinity group to offer technical assistance to states and their partners in lowering the number of LRCD births, reducing disparities, and improving health equity.
Deadline to Apply for Section 126 IME/GME Residency Slots Is Approaching
Section 126 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) included 1,000 new residency slots for distribution, which will be phased in at no more than 200 per year starting in federal fiscal year (FFY) 2023.
