Thrive Local Focuses on Societal Factors to Help Improve Lives

Members are invited to a webinar on July 12 from 10 to 11 a.m. (PT) to learn about Kaiser Permanente’s Thrive Local program, which focuses on societal factors to improve lives by connecting patients to much-needed resources after they leave the hospital. 

Hear from Social Health Vice President Anand Shah, MD, MS, who will explain why social health is a priority for Kaiser Permanente and how this focus improves health equity. He’ll also discuss Thrive Local’s development process and its community referral network, which integrates health systems, government agencies, and community partners to connect members to all sorts of services, including food, medical equipment, and transportation.
