Note: This recording includes the Q&A sessions from both the November 5 and November 17 webinars.

Join us as CHA and CDPH team up to clarify the requirements for submitting data into the CHA COVID-19 Tracking Tool and help hospitals comply with changing state and federal COVID-19 data reporting requirements.

CMS recently formalized penalties and outlined the enforcement processes around COVID-19 data reporting and is modifying the reporting requirements. With some fields that have been optional becoming mandatory and vice versa, this webinar is perfectly timed to provide insight and guidance for submitting COVID-19 data accurately and help hospitals avoid costly mistakes. There will be ample Q&A time.

Our experts will review state and federal COVID-19 data reporting requirements in detail, and discuss:

  • Which fields are optional and which are mandatory
  • When specific changes go into effect
  • How to report data elements that have ambiguous federal definitions
  • Which fields need to be completed daily versus weekly

HHS expects hospitals to complete 100% of the data, and a hospital will be deemed non-compliant if even a single field is blank for any day during the week in question.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to get it right.
