The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has developed a web-based training program for the standardized patient assessment data elements related to falls.
The training addresses assessment and coding for items J1800 and J1900 that appear in Section J: Health Conditions of the patient assessment tools for each post-acute care setting — inpatient rehabilitation facilities, long-term care hospitals, skilled-nursing facilities, and home health agencies.
The 45-minute course is divided into six sections and is designed to be used on demand.
