CHA has issued a comprehensive summary of the calendar year (CY) 2024 outpatient prospective payment system proposed rule.
The summary details the proposed rule’s acute care hospital provisions, including annual payment and quality updates, price transparency requirements, behavioral health services, policies related to the inpatient-only list, payment for separately payable drugs acquired under the 340B program, and additions to the ambulatory surgical center covered procedures list.
