The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recently issued an advisory to health care providers addressing the monkeypox virus infection.
The advisory provides testing, infection control, and treatment considerations and asks that health care providers notify their local health jurisdiction of any potential cases immediately. CDPH also notes that, due to the evolving situation, it will provide updates as they become available.
