DHCS Releases June Phase 1 DSH Payment Schedule
What’s happening: The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) has released the June Phase I payment schedule for both Private disproportionate share hospital (DSH) Replacement and Non-Designated Public Hospital DSH payments. Warrants will be dated Aug. 27, and electronic funds transfer is scheduled for Aug. 31.
Hospital Equity Reports Due Sept. 30; Support Available from HQIP
What’s happening: The Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) reminds hospitals that the second annual Hospital Equity Measures Report is due by Sept. 30, covering the Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 reporting period of the prior year.
Aug. 14 Application Deadline for Two CalRHT Grant Opportunities
What’s happening: Applications for two grant funding opportunities from the California Rural Health Transformation (CalRHT) program — Accelerator Partners and Expand and Support Rural Workforce Capacity — will close on Aug. 14.

DHCS Releases Private Hospital-Directed Payment Encounter Files
What’s happening: On July 31, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) uploaded two new hospital data sets that hospitals must download before the files are deleted on Sept. 14.
