What’s happening: In partnership with the Hospital Association of Southern California, CHA will host the two-day 2025 HR Conference in Long Beach, taking place Feb. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. and Feb. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What else to know: The conference will cover topics relevant to human resource (HR) professionals, and professional continuing education (CE) credits are available to registrants who complete certain requirements. Registration is open for CHA members.
The agenda will feature:
- Multiple general sessions on various topics relevant for HR professionals
- A legislative update from CHA’s Erika Frank, vice president, legal counsel, and MKM Law Group’s Muira Mishra, JD, founder and principal, which will cover new laws that went into effect this year followed by proposed legislation that may impact hospitals next year
- A closing session with 75 minutes of open discussion, which will provide an opportunity for attendees to close the loop on any remaining issues or ask questions about a situation that was not addressed
Full participation in the program is a prerequisite for receiving professional CE credit. The registrant must complete a post-event survey, attest to participation, and provide a professional license number when required. CE certificates will be emailed approximately three weeks after the program.
