CHA will host a member-only Labor & Employment Law Legislative Updates webinar Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. – noon. Informative and interactive, the webinar will focus on new laws that take effect in 2020 and recommendations for implementation, and will include a robust question-and-answer period.
CHA’s Gail Blanchard-Saiger, vice president & counsel, labor and employment, will lead the webinar and discuss the intricacies of new laws and updates, including:
- Assembly Bill (AB) 5: Independent contractor tests
- AB 1805: Cal/OSHA reporting requirements
- Senate Bill (SB) 425: Mandatory reporting of complaints of patient sexual abuse
- SB 778: Revised deadlines for all employees to receive mandatory sexual harassment training
