What’s happening: The Department of Health Care Access and Information’s (HCAI) Office of Statewide Hospital Planning and Development (OSHPD) is hosting a webinar to share updates about its review process for hospital construction projects.
What else to know: The webinar is scheduled for Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. (PT) and is free. Registration is open.
As outlined in Policy Intent Notice 50, the Integrated Review Process combines two previous review processes — Phased Plan Review and Collaborative Review and Construction — with the goal of engaging OSHPD early in hospital construction projects, from project design to final plan approval.
The webinar will include an overview of Integrated Review Process requirements, parameters, sample projects, and tools. In addition to OSHPD staff, presenters include Gary Dunger, executive director, design and construction, at Cedars-Sinai Health System.
