To assist members in navigating the No Surprises Act final rule, CHA will host a complimentary webinar from 11 a.m. to noon (PT) on Sept. 30.

Chad Mulvany, CHA vice president, policy, and Amanda Hayes-Kibreab and John Barnes, partners at King & Spalding, will provide insight and guidance on the Departments of Labor, Treasury, and Health and Human Services’ long-anticipated No Surprises Act final rule, which updates several key requirements related to the independent dispute resolution process.

As a reminder, the ruling found that key provisions of the July and October 2021 interim final rule were impermissible under the statute and mandates significant changes. It also defines “downcoded” claims and establishes requirements related to what information payers must share with providers in these instances.
