The 2021 legislative session officially ended when Governor Newson finished signing bills in the early weeks of October. While it is no surprise that COVID-19 continues to challenge California employers, new labor and employment legislation isn’t just about the pandemic. Health care professionals have several laws and regulations to be aware of and to implement starting in January in order to remain compliant.

CHA is hosting a free members-only webinar, Labor and Employment Updates for 2022, on November 9. Join Gideon Baum, CHA’s Vice President of Policy, who specializes in labor and employment issues surrounding hospitals, as he provides updates and suggests strategies on how CHA members can implement new laws and comply with California regulations.
