The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently introduced the Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs) in Alabama, with plans to expand the program to California in the near future.
Peter Thomas, Managing Partner at Powers Law, will provide an overview of CMS and the status of the RCD. He will also share information about which states are scheduled for implementation next.
Additionally, Martha Samora, CEO at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bakersfield, will share lessons learned and insights gained from sister facilities in Alabama that are already part of the RCD.
