HRSA Reopens Reporting Period 3 for Providers with Extenuating Circumstances

This post has been archived and contains information that may be out of date.

Providers who missed the Reporting Period 3 deadline because of extenuating circumstances have a one-time chance to submit a request to report late, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced.

The  Provider Relief Fund Reporting Portal is open through Dec. 2, 2022, at 8:59 p.m. (PT) for providers who have been approved to submit a late Reporting Period 3 report. Providers must return unused funds to HRSA within 30 days of submitting a report.

Extenuating circumstances include severe illness/death of a provider or staffer, natural disaster, non-receipt of HRSA reporting communications, failure to submit a completed report in the portal, internal miscommunication, and/or incomplete targeted distribution payments.

The Request to Report Late Due to Extenuating Circumstances website provides more details about this process.

Additionally, CHA reminds members that Reporting Period 4, which covers funds received from July 1 to Dec. 31, 2021, will open on Jan. 1, 2023, and run through March 31, 2023.
