HRSA Announces Grant Funding to Expand Rural Access to Opioid Treatment

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced the availability of $10 million in substance misuse grant funding through the HRSA Rural Communities Opioid Response Program. 

Organizations can apply for a portion of the funding through July 29.  

The funding is intended to help rural communities facing challenges in providing opioid use treatment services establish new treatment access points to connect individuals to medication to treat opioid use.
