CHA will host a series of health equity webinars to provide members with information, tools, and practices to reduce inequities in care and improve the lives of the patients they serve.

The first in this ongoing series will feature Kaiser Permanente’s Thrive Local program, a community referral network that integrates health systems, government agencies, and community partners to connect patients to much-needed services.

The complimentary, members-only webinar will be held on July 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (PT) and features Anand Shah, MD, MS, Kaiser Permanente’s vice president of social health. Dr. Shah will explain why Kaiser views social health as a priority, focus areas for their initiatives, their strategies to address social health and health equity, and a detailed review of Thrive Local’s development process and goals.
