CHA is pleased to join with the Cal OES Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) team to help hospitals apply for funds from FEMA’s HMA grant program.
Experts will cover general information regarding FEMA’s HMA grant program, including the types of projects the program is capable of funding, and discuss best practices for successful subapplication development. There will be ample time for questions.
Applications for certain grants must be submitted by May 1, 2021. Join us as we address:
- Eligibility requirements
- The 5% initiative, project scoping, and Advance Assistance
- Cost effectiveness requirements including the Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA)
- Eligible project types, including wildfire mitigation, infrastructure protection/hardening, and generator (backup power)
- Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) review considerations
We will also cover critical deadlines and where to turn for Cal OES technical assistance.
