CHA reminds hospitals that preview data for April public reporting are currently available for review through Feb. 26. CHA encourages members to view their hospital-specific preview reports, available on the QualityNet website.
This includes the updated Overall Star Ratings that will be publicly posted to Care Compare in April 2021. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services made significant changes to the hospital Overall Star Rating methodology in the calendar year 2020 outpatient prospective payment system final rule. The star ratings displayed in April will reflect measure performance from the October 2020 update of Care Compare.
