The Trump administration issued various directives aimed at reducing unlawful immigration and residency in the U.S. These federal actions continue to raise important questions for our hospitals and because volunteers are sometimes the first point of contact when entering the hospital, it is vital to understand how these actions may impact your hospital. During the session, Erika will:
- Share how these directives intersect with California law.
- Outline best practices for responding to federal requests for access to patients and patient information as well as employees and employee documentation.
- Provide insights into the current federal and state laws governing these complex issues.
- Offer strategies for navigating potential challenges in compliance.
Join us Thursday, May 15 from 12 to 1:30 p.m., where Erika will present and answer your volunteer workforce, legal and compliance questions. Please submit your questions during the registration process.
