The 2024 California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference, in its 61^st year, will be held in-person at the Sharp Prebys Innovation and Education Center in San Diego, September 16-17, 2024.

The intended audience is volunteer leaders, volunteers, paid staff who manage volunteer programs, community partners, and inter-professional peers looking to expand their services with volunteer programs.

Cancellation/Refund

A $75 non-refundable processing fee will be retained for each cancellation. Cancellations must be made in writing 14 or more days prior to the scheduled event and emailed to volunteers@calhospital.org. No refunds will be made after these dates. Substitutions are encouraged. In the unlikely event that the program is cancelled, refunds will be issued to paid registrants within 30 days.

Discount Registration Check Payment

Check payment registrations received by July 31 must submit payment before Aug. 16, 2024 to receive discount rate. If payment is submitted after Aug. 16, the rate will increase. If you have questions, please call (916) 552-7544.

Confirmation Policy

A confirmation email will be sent to all registrants. On-site registrations and any unpaid registrations may be subject to an additional 10% fee.

To get the best conference experience, we recommend you plan travel flight departures after 4 p.m.

San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 is currently under construction and will impact airport arrival and departures. Please plan accordingly.

The Sharp Prebys Innovation and Education Center and Courtyard by Marriott are located eleven miles from San Diego International Airport (SAN) and approximately seven miles from the Amtrak Old Town Station.
