Hospitals and their employees who have been affected by recent wildfires can contact the Employment Development Department’s (EDD) disaster service center for support with various activities, including filing unemployment insurance benefit claims, job search activities, referral services, and assistance for employers with disability insurance and paid family leave benefits for their eligible employees.
