Updated rates for distinct-part skilled-nursing facilities are now posted on the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) website.
The newly published rates are effective for services that began Aug. 1, 2022, and include the temporary COVID-19 emergency rate increase.
Upon expiration of the federal public health emergency, distinct-part skilled-nursing facility level B reimbursements will revert to their standard per diem rates. DHCS will post an update on its long-term care reimbursement web page to inform providers of the expiration of the emergency period and the corresponding expiration of the additional reimbursement.
