On April 11, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Capitated Rate Development Division notified hospitals that due to a system issue, Partnership Health Plan has had challenges in completing its reporting to identify contracted status for Medi-Cal Hospital Directed Payment Programs.
As a result, DHCS is extending Partnership’s deadline to return the contract-flagging files to DHCS to May 2. This extension will provide more time for Partnership to resolve its system issues and work with the hospitals to complete the reporting.
This extension does not apply to other Medi-Cal managed care plans, which are still required to report by April 18.
