On June 16, the Department of Health Care Services announced through a Medi-Cal provider newsflash that fee-for-service payments for certain services and programs that were scheduled to be paid at the end of June will be held until early July. This delay does not apply to services provided in Medi-Cal managed care.
The following services and programs with fee-for-service claims payments scheduled for June 23 will be held until July 8:
- Abortion
- Medi-Cal
- Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP)
- Family Planning, Access, Care and Treatment (PACT) Program
The following services and programs with fee-for-service claims payments scheduled for June 30 will be held until July 8:
- Abortion
- State-only California Children’s Services
- State-only Genetically Handicapped Persons Program
- Medi-Cal
- CHDP
- Family PACT
