The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced that the Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) for inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) will begin on Aug. 21 in Alabama. It will then expand to California, Texas, and Pennsylvania. However, a specific time frame for implementation in California has not been established.
