Applications are now being accepted for the California Health Facilities Financing Authority (CHFFA) third funding round for the Investment in Mental Health Wellness Grant Program for Children and Youth.
Eligible applicants include counties, counties applying jointly, and their designated nonprofit service providers. The deadline to apply in this third funding round is 5 p.m. (PT) on Oct. 29. Hospitals interested in these grants should reach out to their County Mental Health Plan.
The grant program includes:
- $22,584,573 in capital funding for crisis residential treatment, crisis stabilization unit, and mobile crisis support team programs
- $1,138,616 in mobile crisis support team personnel funding
Note: Funding for family respite care is no longer available.
