CHA President & CEO Carmela Coyle has been asked to join the HIE Stakeholder Advisory Group — building California’s first-ever, statewide Health and Human Services Data Exchange — Framework as the hospital representative.
The advisory group, which consists of representatives from state government, hospitals, health plans, organized labor, and county government, among others, will be responsible for helping develop an overall strategic direction for the exchange of health information and participating in sub-committees established by the advisory committee.
The group’s first meeting is planned for Aug. 31.
CHA released a media statement in support of the direction of the state and the advisory committee.
