CHA DataSuite issued facility-specific reports to CHA member hospitals analyzing changes made in the Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) final rule for federal fiscal year 2010. The statewide aggregate impact to California hospitals reflects an increase of $187.8 million.
CHA was successful in defeating two significant negative proposals; a 1.9 percent behavioral offset adjustment and elimination of payments for Capital IME.
