CHA has created a resource to assist members in preparing for the termination of state and federal flexibilities at the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) declaration.
Resources cover the unwinding of certain regulatory waivers, special coverage, and payment policies. The resource will be updated with any forthcoming guidance from state and federal agencies.
In addition, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has updated its provider-specific fact sheets for unwinding PHE waivers and flexibilities.
California’s state of emergency will end on Feb. 28; the federal PHE will end on May 11.
