The California Department of Public Health is reminding all hospitals that they are required to report patient level information for each hospitalized person who tests positive for COVID-19. This reporting is required weekly.
Hospitals that have not yet submitted data are asked to review the information in the July 23 All Facilities Letter 21-25 to ensure they meet the next weekly submission deadline of Aug. 31. Hospitals that have no patients who meet the reporting criteria during a given week are required to submit a file stating “No Patients to Report.”
