CDC to Hold Trainings on COVID-19 Data Reporting Transition

On Dec. 15, the National Healthcare Safety Network will take over collection of COVID-19 hospital data at the federal level from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  
  
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is offering training to assist with this change: 

  • 10-11 a.m. (PT) Dec. 13: COVID-19 Hospital Data Transition: Transition Overview and Data Submission – Individual Facility Reporters (Replay) 
  • Noon-1 p.m. (PT) Dec. 14: COVID-19 Hospital Data Transition: Transition Overview and Data Submission – Bulk Upload (Replay) 
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (PT) Dec. 20: COVID-19 Hospital Data Transition: Transition Overview and Data Submission – Bulk Upload (Replay)  
  • 10-11 a.m. (PT) Dec. 21: COVID-19 Hospital Data Transition: Transition Overview and Data Submission – Individual Facility Reporters (Replay) 
  •  10-11 a.m. (PT) Dec. 28: COVID-19 Hospital Data Transition: Office Hours Session 

California hospitals that report to the state’s COVID-19 Tracker will continue to do so during and after the transition.
