CDC to Hold Training in Advance of Data Collection Transition

In mid-December, the National Healthcare Safety Network will assume responsibility from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the collection of COVID-19 hospital data at the federal level.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently updated the transition webpage with additional details and instructions. Please note that California hospitals reporting to California’s COVID Tracker will continue to do so during this transition. California hospitals that opted in to have the California Department of Public Health upload their data to TeleTracking should see no change to their COVID-19 data reporting procedure.
