BACKGROUND
On Feb. 21, Change Healthcare, a health care technology company that is part of Optum and owned by UnitedHealth Group, announced it was hit with a cyberattack that disrupted several of its systems and services, including claims processing and pharmacy services, which have significantly impacted hospitals and health systems.
