Anne McLeod, CHA’s senior vice president, health policy & innovation, will leave the association in December ahead of joining the Private Essential Access Community Hospitals (PEACH) organization on Jan. 6, 2020, as its President and CEO.
McLeod will succeed Catherine Douglas, who has served as PEACH president and CEO since 1994.
McLeod has been a strong voice for hospitals during her 12-year tenure at CHA, developing the original Hospital Fee Program and lending policy expertise and creativity to advance policies and financial arrangements to help hospitals meet their mission of care. In her new role at PEACH, she will lead the work on issues of importance to California’s community safety-net hospitals.
Her last day at CHA will be Dec. 13.
