Diagnosed with Peritoneal Cancer, Kristy Regains Normalcy

After experiencing fatigue and stomach pain, a scan led to Kristy’s diagnosis of peritoneal cancer. She turned to Cottage Gynecologic Oncology Clinic, where Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital offered an advanced two-part surgical procedure — more effective than standard chemotherapy with fewer side effects.
