Determined Septuagenarian Bodybuilder Gets a New Spine

Former patrol cop Diane Robinson is pursuing her dream of competing in a bodybuilding event following spine surgery. 

The trouble started in 1980 when former patrol officer Diane Robinson was injured while pursuing a suspect. In the following years, the duties that came along with the badge took a toll on her body. 

After retiring, she stayed active by pursuing a doctorate and volunteering. By this time, her old injuries threatened her ability to walk. A surgical team at Providence Little Company of Mary took a complex approach to Robinson’s spine that changed her life.
