A May 17 webinar from the Department of Health Care Access and Information will focus on Code Application Notice (CAN) 1-7-153 — Amended Construction Documents: Changes That do Not Materially Alter the Work, which was issued in March 2022.
As previously discussed, these changes do not require the submission of an amended construction document. The code requirements and definitions will be reviewed as well as the content of the CAN. Processes, examples, and tips will also be discussed. Participants will gain an understanding of the process, benefits, and risks of changes that do not materially alter the work. In addition, there will be guidance on how to evaluate changes to determine whether they materially alter the approved work.
