Provider Relief Funds Updates Reporting Period 2, Phase 4 Payment Methodology & Reconsideration Period

Kicking off the new year are updates to the Provider Relief Fund reporting. First, the Health Resources Service and Administration’s (HRSA) Provider Relief Fund (PRF) reporting portal is now open for Period 2 reporting. Hospitals and other providers will have until March 31 to report on their use of PRF payments received between July 1, 2020 and Dec. 31, 2020. These funds must have been expended by Dec. 31, 2021.

Also, the reconsideration window for American Rescue Plan (ARP) Rural and Phase 4 payments opens on Feb. 1, 2022. Providers who believe their payment(s) were calculated erroneously will be able to request reconsideration.
