On Aug. 26, 43 members of the U.S. Senate, including Sens. Feinstein and Padilla, sent a bipartisan letter to Health & Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra calling for the immediate release of the remaining Provider Relief Funds to hospitals and providers.
Earlier this month 40 of the 53 members of the California congressional delegation also sent a bipartisan letter, led by Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-5), to Secretary Becerra calling for the immediate release of the funds.
