Provider Relief Fund Reporting Period 4 Opens January 1, 2023

CHA reminds members that Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Reporting Period 4 opens on Jan. 1, 2023. This reporting period covers funds received from July 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2021.

PRF recipients have until Dec. 31, 2022, to use any funds received during this time frame to offset expenses or lost revenue related to COVID-19.

As this is the first reporting period that potentially includes American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds, CHA encourages members to closely review the recently updated Post-Payment Notice of Reporting Requirements. The updated reporting requirements clarify that if a provider received both PRF and ARP rural payments, the provider should apply their ARP rural payment toward eligible health care expenses and lost revenues attributable to COVID-19 before using PRF payments to cover eligible health care expenses or lost revenues attributable to COVID-19.
