The Hospital Quality Institute (HQI) is seeking submissions for poster presentations at its 2019 Annual Conference, to be held in Sacramento Oct. 14 and 15. Successful posters will demonstrate improvements in quality, patient safety and/or person-centered care. Accepted posters qualify the presenter for a 20% discount on conference registration.

Posters should detail how success was achieved. Submissions involving innovative approaches and engaging multiple stakeholders or providers across the continuum of care are encouraged. To be invited for presentation at the HQI annual conference, a poster should be organized and clearly presented; display clear aims and objectives that address clinical or operational improvement processes; demonstrate practical efforts to achieve and sustain improvements in patient safety; and include sound methodology for analyzing improvement.

The deadline for submission is Aug. 16, and notification of selected posters will be sent on Aug. 30. Only 24 posters will be selected for presentation at the conference. Early submissions are recommended.
