What’s happening: The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) held its quarterly Stakeholder Advisory Committee meeting on Aug. 19, providing updates on the state budget and other key developments from the state’s Medi-Cal agency.

What’s happening: On Aug. 5, the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) hosted a Supplier Diversity Commission Meeting that covered the reporting results from 2026 so far, with 348 hospitals that submitted on time.
What’s happening: On Monday, CHA filed its latest legal brief with the San Francisco Superior Court establishing why the judge must reject the Office of Health Care Affordability’s (OHCA’s) request to dismiss the case.

Warrants will be dated Aug. 27, and electronic funds transfer is scheduled for Aug. 31.
What’s happening: The Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) reminds hospitals that the second annual Hospital Equity Measures Report is due by Sept. 30, covering the Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 reporting period of the prior year.
What’s happening: Applications for two grant funding opportunities from the California Rural Health Transformation (CalRHT) program — Accelerator Partners and Expand and Support Rural Workforce Capacity — will close on Aug. 14.
