From the very start of the pandemic, hospital workers have demonstrated incredible dedication, compassion, courage, and skill as they care for our communities — something we will forever be grateful for. Now, they’re leading the vaccination rollout across the country, spurring hope for an eventual end to the pandemic.

Check out the inoculation efforts in California — and see the (masked) smiles and gratitude of vaccinated health care heroes:

There is magic in the brilliant minds of those who execute a path of healing we call medicine. It is the miracle of those brilliant minds executed by science in the form of a vaccine that sheds light through the darkness today, and this vaccine is that magic.” -Roshni Jamadar, MSN, FNP-C, ACNPC-AG

Thank you doctors, nurses, and health care workers for being on the front lines of the pandemic each and every day – from caring for COVID-19 patients to administering and receiving the vaccine, we’re grateful for everything you do.

Over the next several months, health and vaccination centers will continue to inoculate individuals following the state’s equitable, three-phase approach. Learn more about vaccine safety, benefits, and distribution here.
